One day, my mom stopped by the shop and saw a bunch of cedar lumber laying around and made a comment about always wanting a cedar lined chest… well for her birthday that’s exactly what I made her!
For the chest I used European oak which is naturally a beautiful brown color! I used book-matched panels for the front and back to show off the beautiful quarter sawn oak!
